Sanganur Sree Ayyappa Seva Samithi was established in the year 1999 (Regd No: 44/1999) by a team of like minded Ayyappa devotees and formally registered under the Societies act of Tamilnadu-27/1975
The Samithi has constructed temple on the land purchased and formalised poojas in line with the ‘Agama Shastra’ and facilitated devotees to worship.
In addition to the above, Samithi has been spearheading various CSR activities and rendering services to the society.The initiatives taken are in line with the bylaws framed for Samithi and the team is determined to intensify the services relentlessly.
On behalf of Sanganur Sree Ayyappa Seva Samithi, would like to share some of our plans and actions proposed to initiate with regards to CSR activities during the current financial year, which is also in line with the bylaws framed for our Samithi.
Would like to express in brief as stated below and seek your continued support as our well wishers in order to provide support to the needy people of our society and join us to make this move a grand success.
Education
Identify 5 bright and underprivileged school going students, 10th standard and below, within 2 Km radius of Sanganur village and extend financial support for buying the books and other devices required for their study.
Free Medical Camp and Support
People who are suffering from chronic health issues and financially backward, unable to take proper medical treatment to recover from the illness can avail this facility.
For the benefit of such people, Free Medical Camp is organised for diagnosis of disease and treatment, jointly with the support of Reputed Medical Centres and Hospitals in Coimbatore.
Annadhanam:
Every year, on Prathishta day of Sanganur Ayyappa Temple and Mandala Pooja, Annadhanam is served during noon time in a grand manner for about four thousand people from general public, orphanages and old-age homes.
Further, during Mandala Pooja month, Annaprasadham is served every day in the morning hours until the Makara Vilakku day.
Essential Facilities:
‘Hygiene and Commuting’-
To start with, improvement in the above two areas surrounding the temple premise and for about 2 km radius with the support of Local Authorities has been initiated.
